The Geo Bath pictured is based on the traditional
Japanese methods of bathing and boasts an extra deep tub that is filled
with very hot water, in which
you can sit submerged up to the neck for total relaxation. The insulating
properties of teak means that the water will stay warm for hours and, with
the addition of a specially constructed lid, can be kept warm for the best
part of a day. This allows the Geo bath to be used in a hot-tub style,
whereby the actual cleaning can be done elsewhere, and the tub is used
purely for
relaxing and recuperation by various family and friends throughout the
day.
The Geo bath is also perfect for those with smaller bathrooms, as its
shorter than standard length will fit snugly in even the most spatially
challenged
rooms. Its extra deep dimensions mean you don’t have to compromise
on comfort and the addition of a removable seat allows you to sit in comfort
while enjoying a soak. William Garvey Ltd also offers a matching teak stool
for easy access.

Teak is used extensively in the marine industry because of its durability
and
the natural oils found within the timber protect it from water, resist
marking and allow easy cleaning with household detergents. To further
ensure its
durability, the timber is coated in a protective finish called Timbertect
Plus, which renders it virtually indestructible.
Each of William Garvey Ltd’s wooden baths is made by hand. The design
involves the use of complex interlocking joints, which ensure that the bath
is completely leak proof. As well as making a standard range, the company
